The Process at Painted Clans

Each family crest is digitally redesigned with a simplified, modernized style. This ensures the crest retains its historical significance while fitting seamlessly into today’s decor.

We then create a series of stencils, much like the screen printing process. These stencils help us precisely outline the design.

Using high-quality acrylic paint and the prepared stencils, each crest is hand-painted with rich, vibrant colors. The painting process involves layering the colors on premium 300gm paper to create depth and texture. We use wide 2" or 3" brushes to achieve a heavy textured brush effect, adding a unique touch to each piece.

Finally, we add the intricate details with a fine brush, Hand write the surnames and rubber stamp the paper ensuring every crest is a personalized work of art.
